SIRRI Testimonials

"My child's ability to transition from one task to another without incident increased significantly. Eye contact is better and consistent. He has become much more willing to speak and can talk about a range of topics interactively. Perseverations decreased significantly, as did an "OCD" type behavior of finger counting (this disappeared!). He has made significant gains in school, he is mainstreamed for all subjects except reading. I anticipate he may be able to hit grade level reading by the end of the year. Overall, we are all happier."

S.C. - Boonton, N.J., 8 year-old boy PDD/communication impaired

"Our daughter was recommended for retention in Kindergarten. She was reversing almost all numbers and letters. This has virtually disappeared! She is progressing fine in first grade, (we did not allow them to hold her back.) She is reading at grade level now. Although always coordinated she has improved in all areas of physical activity. In the last three months she has earned another belt in TaeKwan Do, advanced one swim level and improved in Gymnastics."

S.C. - Boonton, N.J., 6 year-old girl, ADHD
------------------
"I think he was significantly helped by SIRRI. He is more easily managed because he is more compliant. His understanding of rationale has been enhanced which is helpful to him with insight and motivation for good behavior. His level of tolerance has also improved which can be seen in a decrease in temper tantrums. His personal hygiene has greatly improved which can be seen in his desire to buy new clothes and attention to his appearance. Language wise, he talks to himself a lot as if role playing as a teacher. Most importantly, he is more social. He desires to talk more in group situations; he desires more to be accepted and to learn more social skills. Academically he is getting a better grade- high honor role in the first quarter. Thanks John for your help!"

D.C. - Dix Hills, N.Y., 16 year-old boy, Aspergers Syndrome
------------------
"Upon completing the onsite and home program, (both of which he truly enjoyed), we have seen great changes in his concentration and attention to task. He now follows one step commands and has learned to remove his jacket himself. He has also learned to say when prompted: Daddy and lolly. This program has definitely enhanced his progress and I highly recommend it to children with PDD/ Autism."

L.A. - Bronx , N.Y., 4 year-old boy, PDD-Autism

"SIRRI brought me back to a point of optimal functioning which I thought was gone forever. This retraining was a miracle for me. I refused to accept that I would be brain damaged for the rest of my life and SIRRI brought me back. It has meant everything to my life."

D.R. - Huntington, N.Y., 46 year-old woman, Brain Injury
------------------
"Since going to SIRRI our daughter has had a remarkable change in her personality. Having entered middle school she now does well in her classes, she does her homework on her own and completely finishes it. Her test scores are now all above 80%. She is more self assured and does not SM shy away from people or tasks anymore. I feel SIRRI has been the defining push that has welded together her whole treatment plan. After many years of coping with her problem, I am now confident that she will have a brighter future. We would like to express our sincere thanks to you for helping her; the program has brought her life into focus."

"Before going to SIRRI our son was speaking very few words and was unable to jump or even balance on a tricycle. After completing the program one of his speech teachers remarked to Michael, 'Your words are amazing!' She has seen a significant change in his expressive language. Michael is even trying to sing and spell words now. He is much more coordinated, is able to jump, and is learning to ride a two-wheeler with training wheels and a bit of help. We have found SIRRI to be an extremely positive experience."
